HEARTWOOD MEDIA HELPS PROTECT LAND IN PITTSBURG
Creates video to help garner support for conservation of International Paper Land

[MANCHESTER, NH] – Heartwood Media, an award-winning Manchester-based video and new media production company, recently completed a video for the Society for the Protection of NH Forests, The Nature Conservancy and the Trust for Public Lands. The video is designed to persuade the NH Legislature to help fund the conservation of the International Paper land in Pittsburgh.

The video was shown at an informational forum for the NH House of Representatives and Senate on January 16. The video features interviews with residents and businesspeople from the area, aerial views of the land, graphics and animation.

"The video has been very effective in persuading legislators, foundations, congressional staff members and individual donors to support public and private funding for this important project," said Charlie Niebling, policy director with the Society for the Protection of NH Forests. "Chris Conroy was great to work with on the project, which had a very tight production schedule.

“This land is very important to New Hampshire," said Chris Conroy, Creative Director of Heartwood Media Inc. “We're pleased to have a chance to work on a project that will have a lasting impact.”
